Ha Giang Jeep Tour is ideal for travelers who want to discover the full beauty of the Ha Giang Loop in comfort and safety. Instead of riding a motorbike, you will travel by open–air jeep with an experienced local driver, passing dramatic mountain passes, limestone peaks, ethnic minority villages, rice terraces, and the legendary Ma Pi Leng Pass and Nho Que River valley.

You will also stay in a peaceful village in Du Gia, experience a local Tay family homestay, and travel back to Hanoi by limousine bus.

  • Free overnight at a traditional homestay in Ha Giang City.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Ha Giang City – Bac Sum Pass – Quan Ba Heaven Gate – Twin Mountains – Yen Minh – Tham Ma Slope – H’Mong King Palace – Dong Van

Meals: Lunch, Dinner

08:30 – The tour starts from our homestay in Ha Giang City. Your English–speaking guide and jeep driver will give you a short safety and route briefing before departure.

As you leave Ha Giang, the scenery quickly transforms into towering mountains and deep valleys. Along the way you will:

  • Stop at Bac Sum Pass to enjoy panoramic views and a drink break

  • Continue to Quan Ba Heaven Gate and admire the spectacular landscape

  • See the iconic Twin Mountains (Fairy Bosom Hills)

  • Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in Yen Minh Town

In the afternoon, the jeep continues deeper into the Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark:

  • Drive over Tham Ma Slope, a famous winding mountain road with great photo spots

  • Visit the historic H’Mong King Palace (Vuong Family Residence), former home of the H’Mong royal family

Arrive in Dong Van Town in the late afternoon.
Check in at the homestay, have dinner, and enjoy free time to explore Dong Van Old Quarter in the evening.

Day 2: Dong Van – Volunteer Youth Monument – Ma Pi Leng Pass – Sky Path – Nho Que River Viewpoint – Meo Vac – Du Gia Village

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

After breakfast, depart Dong Van and follow one of the most stunning mountain roads in all of Vietnam:

  • Drive along the legendary Ma Pi Leng Pass, known for its craggy cliffs and breathtaking views

  • Stop at the Volunteer Youth Monument and several viewpoints along the pass

  • Take the Sky Path road to admire the full panorama of the valley and the emerald Nho Que River far below

  • Enjoy many opportunities for photos of dramatic rock formations and deep gorges

Continue by jeep through remote mountain areas and villages:

  • Pass Lung Ho, Mau Due, and Meo Vac, where you will stop for lunch and rest

From Meo Vac, keep driving through a mountain–trail road to Du Gia Village, a peaceful valley surrounded by rice terraces and home to several ethnic minority groups.

  • Check in at a local Tay minority homestay

  • Enjoy a homemade dinner and “happy water” with the host family

Overnight in Du Gia Village.

Day 3: Du Gia Village – Du Gia Waterfall – Duong Thuong Valley – Thai An Road – Bac Me – Ha Giang City → Hanoi

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

After breakfast at the homestay:

  • Visit the hidden Du Gia Waterfall, where you can relax and enjoy the peaceful nature

  • Say goodbye to your host family and continue the jeep journey

On the way back to Ha Giang, you will still enjoy impressive landscapes:

  • Drive through Duong Thuong Valley with its beautiful mountain scenery

  • Follow Thai An Road, a scenic route with great viewpoints

  • Pass through the Bac Me area before returning to Ha Giang City in the afternoon

From Ha Giang, you will board the limousine bus at 16:00 back to Hanoi.
The tour ends upon your arrival in Hanoi.
